I have a 1991 Greg Rich era Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard in excellent condition. There is some fret ware on the first 5 frets but does not affect playing. I have had several Gibsons over the years and this is by far the best one I have owned. I took it in as a trade for a Chief I had for sale, expecting to turn it right around and sell it. Well that was a couple months ago and have just now decided to sell it or trade it for a Martin guitar. Without rambling on this banjo sounds incredible. everything is stock including the Gibson Scruggs D-Tuners on the 2nd and 3rd strings. It does have a new Sosebee submerged wood bridge and also a Small Dog case cover is included. The case is the stock Gibson case with the Gibson logo on it. I will sell it outright or take a Martin guitar trade, would prefer a HD28V or a D18GE. I will post pics tomorrow. I will mention that the Gibson logo on the headstock got dark, this can be corrected by sanding down to the pearl and reapplying fresh lacquer if this is an issue with anyone. I also have a new Huber head that goes with it, I did not change it out because as it is it sounds awesome and the ware spot does not bother me, anyway new head included.
By the way any trades would be the listed Martin guitar trade, I am not interested in trading for a banjo.
