Early unmarked Buckbee-Dobson style banjo. Smaller size, 33 1/2" long, 10 1/2" Fibreskyn head, new hooks, replacement No-knot tailpiece, set up with Nylgut strings. Neck is straight and true, frets excellent. Rim is partially clad. Has the smile in the rounded heel, and paddle shaped headstock with friction tuning pegs. I also fabricated a stretcher band from steel to restore the banjo to playable condition.
This would make a great addition to your collection. I'm liquidating some of my banjos and I don't play this style.
