I used this banjo when I taught banjo at a music school. It has a brass tone ring I believe and sounds decent. Perfectly set up and ready to be played. The neck is a bit bulky and has spikes at 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12. Two working Schaller D-tuners on strings 2 & 3. 1st-string peg turns hard but is usable. The case's bottom has a repaired crack and the top a torn strip of covering that was re-glued into place. Banjo comes with an extra set of strings and a Shubb capo.
