100+ Year Old Barn Wood Custom Made Spillway Dam Banjo Bridge
This bridge design was developed by a couple of members of the Banjohangout, xnavyguy, and rollplayer.
After a lot of expermental designs, and testing, this design was one of the best they came up with.
They have given me their permission to build, and sell their design, which I am grateful for.
I build these out of 100+ Year Old Oak wood, that came out of by Grandfather's Barn, which is hard enough, to not need a cap on them, and the design allows the string vibrations to go straight down to the banjo head, from each string, with no glue joints, to interfer with the vibrations. The design of this bridge also prevents sagging, which is common on a lot of traditional bridge designs. I have sold several bridges to Banjohangout Members, with great success. Most customers say they love the tone, increased volume, and note separation, the bridge supplies. They seem to work really well on the cheaper, entry level banjos, but also improve the performance of the most expensive banjos.
This is for one, 4 or 5 String Bridge, that I will build to your size, from 1/2" to 3/4", and string spacing specifications.
I accept Paypal, cash, check, or Money Order, or contact me if you want to use another form of payment.
With a simple switch of the bridge, I think you will be amazed at how much better your banjo will sound.
