Stelling Staghorn that was built late 1999 or early 2000. The serial number is on the borderline. The finish on the wood is very nice, with hardly the usual amount of dings and scratches. The nickel plating is in remarkable condition. The frets appear to have been professionally dressed and show very little evidence of much playing. Spikes are at 7 and 9.
The banjo is well adjusted for sound and playability. The case is a brand new, never used, deluxe Crossrock hardshell.
***The lower than usual price for a Stelling Staghorn is because a sliding fifth string capo was installed, not once, but twice. The filling of the holes was done by someone with great skill and pride in their work. I believe that if you are focused on the sound and playability of the banjo, this issue will fade into the background.***
