Here is an absolute beautiful and great sounding "Gibson" RB-3 Mastertone Banjo with an original "The Gibson" hard shell banjo case. I have known this banjo for a long time and it originally came from a gentleman who had Sullivan banjos or as it was then First Quality Musical Supply in Louisville, Kentucky build this banjo for him. It comes from the era in the late 1990s to early 2000s when First Quality sold Huber Banjo rings, it does feature a vintage Huber Flathead 20 hole tone ring. This is standard specifications for a RB-3 Gibson Mastertone, the fit and finish are absolutely perfect with the finest available materials that First Quality was selling at the time. It's well known that Sullivan was making necks for Gibson during this time. Prucha gold plated and fully engraved mental parts, along with ivoroid topped thumb screws. Spikes at the 7th and the 9th frets, Huber head and a Sullivan 5/8 bridge.
