1920's Vega Whyte Laydie banjo pot, 11" (10 15/16th) extra clean hardware. Bracket band, tone ring, tension hoop, shoes and nuts all look like new and are original from the 1920's. Some hooks have plating wear as is normal on these old Vega banjos. New skin head. I stretched this head on this rim so it's a custom fit! This model is the first I have seen being stamped "Whyte Laydie" with a WL tone ring but also the dowel is stamped "little wonder". Original dowel stick (78995 stamped in dowel and rim) is in great shape and ready for your neck. Everything on this banjo except head is original from the factory (1920's). Small chip in binding inside the rim. Seems stable and not loose (see last picture).
