An extremely rare bird here...2014 Stelling Appalachian - a short-lived experiment for Stelling making top-flight openbacks with Tony Pass woody rims. This flamed maple example is in absolutely mint condition - the brightwork is sparklingly clean - not a single mark anywhere on the banjo that I can find. Fantastic playing and sounding banjo - I've only ever seen one for sale and I chase Stellings (esp. openbacks) with a passion!
A BHO pal asked and this weighs in at 6 lbs on the dot - lightest Stelling ever?!
Comes in a the original mint condition Superior bump case.
