This 1928 Gibson Style 3 left the factory as a tenor and has been converted into a fine Bluegrass machine with an early Sullivan arch top to flathead conversion ring and an excellent curly maple neck with a fantastic profile. F.O.N. 9025-31 stamped in the rim along with the uncut sticker because the rim is unaltered. An added feature are the Keith/Bump D-tuners installed. At some point, the resonator has been refinished in the proper color, and the bottom of the rim has some sort of “patch“… Maybe from a light or some sort of electrical device. If you need additional pictures or have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking.
