This Imperial pot is in excellent condition with only a couple of tiny scratches (probably from me carting it around for years) evident. I've read that Ty Piper made great banjos, some fancy. This one is quite plain but constructed with the same components: same rim, tone ring, and flange. The pot weighs in at just less than nine pounds and would make a terrific 'grasser.
