Criswell Classic banjos are highly regarded, professional-grade banjos by the late luthier Richard Criswell (often known as "Big Guy") and his wife Jessica in Monticello KY. These banjos are quite rare, and known for their powerful bluegrass tone using Sloan tone rings. This particular model features the hearts and flowers Scruggs style inlay along with a beautiful curly maple neck and resonator and nickel plated Prucha hardware.
