Offering a ready to play, nice sounding banjolin with a 10 and 7/8ths rim with a brass tone ring and grooved tension hoop. The rim and neck are made of maple with a natural finish. The outer surface of the rim is covered with birdseye veneer. I'm not sure what type of wood the peghead overlay, fingerboard and heel cap are made of. The peghead has an inlayed star. Simple inlayed dots in the fingerboard. Strip tuners in good working order. Frets are in nice shape. All the nuts and hooks match. The neck brace hardware are quality repros. It has an old tenor No-Knot tailpiece with the strings doubled up on each lug. It's very much a Vega copy. The rim was almost definitely made by Slingerland who produced a zillion of these back in their heyday before focusing strictly on drums. They were sold under various names including Slingerland, Regal and Maybelle.
