Gibson Prewar 11" tension hoop for flat hooks nickel plate in great condition. This type of grooved tension hoop was on Gibson Mastertone's and #2 banjos during the mid 1920's. These tension hoops are heavier and better made than the type seen on later TB1 banjos from the 1920's and TBOO's from the 1930's. I upgraded my shoe bracket banjo with one of these Mastertone grade hoop for a better look and solid feel.
Minor wear and scratch's where tailpiece would be. Stamped E2 on the inside. Good and straight, nice upgrade for a flat hook banjo.
