I have put off selling this very special in looks/sound banjo for many years but the bills are piling up so it must finally go to another happy owner. Easily the prettiest neck of any Chuck Lee I've ever had - underlays/walnut and rosewood fingerboard all pop! Simply gorgeous figured walnut with red and white laminations that really please the eye. This 12" Dobson ring banjo is just as good as it gets. Sounds incredible and plays fantastically well. Ships in a excellent condition Superior bump case.
Note: The original set of Waverlies crapped out long ago, I replaced them with Gotohs which I thought suited the shape/size of the peghead better. These are seen in the video. I have since restored the banjo with a pristine set of perfectly functioning Waverlies as they were on there originally. If you prefer Gotohs, I'll switch them out but otherwise they will be sold with the Waverlies.
