For sale: Zach Hoyt banjo #411. It's a beautiful instrument, but I have too many banjos (seemingly more every day) and primarily play bluegrass. My loss is your gain.
You can read all about it here (hoytbanjos.com/banjo-411-walnu...ing-1295/), but this banjo has a 12" pot, walnut rim and neck, whyte laydie/electric tone ring, ebony fingerboard, Romero-style armrest, Renaissance head, etc... I replaced the bridge with a .656" walnut bridge from Richie Dotson (bringing the wood content a step closer to 100% walnut).
Needless to say, it plays and sounds incredible.
This banjo goes for about $1350 new, plus $175 for a Superior case. I will let this go for $1250 INCLUDING the case and shipping to the lower 48. I'll even throw in a Banjo Bolster (made to fit) if you want it. I might consider a trade for an old Vega pot or something like that, but - seriously - I don't need any more banjos right now.
