Purchased used from The Music Emporium in early 2026. Excellent condition.
No noticeable fret wear – I am assuming the frets are EVO frets. The head appears to be the original Rickard head. I replaced the original bridge with a .656 Snuffy Smith to get a touch more height, but a 5/8 works just fine as well. All original brass hardware.
Full Disclosure per my research: Rickard introduced Cyclone tuners in December 2021. They became standard production sometime in 2022. I don’t know if this banjo has standard tuners or Cyclone tuners – I can’t tell any difference or find a serial number to ask Rickard.
Note: I have had one shop contact me and tell me that based on the information I've stated the tuners are Cyclone tuners.
