This is a Kavanjo Banjo Pickup for a 5-string banjo. It is the head mount style (see photo). I bought it new from John last year and it's in good shape.
I have 3 banjo heads I can send for free that are already set up for the pickup: a Prucha fiberskyn head, black (that came with it), and a white suede head from Smakula (sounds similar to renaissance). The heads have been used, but they're all less than a year old, so also in good shape.
I'd be glad to install it in one of these 3 heads, or just send the pickup. I'm selling because I moved to nylgut and didn't realize magnetic pickups need steel strings to work. It's my favorite pickup for banjo though.
