2008 John Hartford model. This banjo plays and sounds fantastic. It recently got new frets, and is setup for low tuning strings. It has a really resonant low end, very clear, no tone ring, so it's got the woody John Hartford sound, if that is what you're going for!
A little bit of finish damage around the edges on the back of the resonator, but the finish is is very good shape otherwise. The previous owner played the thing so much that the matte finish on the neck has almost been polished to a gloss, it is very very smooth. Banjo is all original.
Comes with a Deering hard case. The handle has broken off, but I tied a new one out of paracord and it is solid (and easily replaced if you wanted)
