Nechville Banjos celebrates Tom Nechville’s thirtieth year as a banjo builder with a special limited edition anniversary banjo, called the “XXX’. Only limited to 30 banjos, this is one of last one’s available and we just received it.
Nechville’s shop staff, led by master craftsman Jeremiah Lindstrom, pulled out all the stops in working with Tom on the design of this limited edition. Custom inlay, EVO frets, Smoke Chrome hardware, amber tuners and a Graph Tech Black Tusq nut are just a few of the special features rolled into this very special banjo.
Tom Nechville says “We are shooting for unprecedented fullness and warm character of tone with lots of dynamic potential. Thirty AAAA curly maple neck blanks were hand picked for shaping into sleek and comfortable phantom style necks. … Only thirty XXX banjos will be built, and they will be a unique design.”
