Made in 1919 (serial # 44479), this Fairbanks by Vega banjo mandolin is in very nice condition. It's all-original except for the added fingerrest, strings, and head. The action is great, the neck is straight to the 12th fret and drops off a bit over the head. The frets show very little wear. There is a small piece of binding missing by the nut on the treble side. The case is original and in solid condition although there is missing fabric inside. All the hardware I deem to be original. 100% playable, tune it up and have at it.
