This beautiful instrument entered my home just one month before my firstborn son. Six years and three kids later, I have not played it as well or as often as it deserves. I'd love to hand it off to someone who will make more and better use of it. (And maybe pick up a banjo-ukulele that doesn't mind waiting for the scraps of time this busy dad has to spare.)
This is a custom Pisgah based on their possum model. I picked it up from the shop in Asheville in January 2020. It is all walnut and persimmon (including the persimmon back rim cap), fully fretted with a short scale (25.5"), 12" rim, aged brass hardware, folk (AKA Dobson) heal, and renaissance head. I've kept it in the included TKL Hardshell case. It's original strings are still ringing, which goes to show how little I've played it.
