Ervin Somogyi carved and voiced 11” banjo tops ~7 available. You may remember May 2025 I listed ~15 fs from this unique experiment. Am posting my reserve stash and a couple that didn’t sell on that first round.

From top left to bottom right - 1x ?l?a?d?d?e?r? ?b?r?a?c?e?d? SOLD, 1 x fan, 2x with a bridge plate (for support and resonance) with 1x medium ~1.5mm thickness and 1x >1mm wafer-thin, and two unbraced (also 1x medium thickness and 1x thin). Also what appears to be mahogany - featured in the closeups. In the spirit of its experimentation these tops are wood and glue, no finish applied.
The braced ones are $90/each, bridge plate ones $80/each, and unbraced $60/each. -$10 each additional if multiple purchased. Includes shipping to CONUS addresses.
Also offering the tension hoop with an internal band that Ervin had machined to secure the wood top to the rim using traditional hardware otherwise (since they are 'flat' without the securing ring of a trad banjo top; there are multiple options to fit the ~11" banjo rim setups to explore). ~2” of gap clearance for strings (the reference banjo had an extra-wide neck). $SOLD (n.b. Ervin charged me $600 for the machining) - if you kop all 7 I’ll throw in for free.
