Vintage banjo guitar. Uncertain of production year.
Stunning curly maple resonator, appears to be original finish in very good condition.
Back of neck is curly maple, likely original finish, does show signs of being played.
Original tuners.
Attractive inlay design but I don’t know what it is called.
Neck does have a little bit of bow, but I have been able to play it fine with a short bridge.
Does not have a Gibson sound, nor does it have a cheap sound. Tone is deep, responsive and resonates.
Reluctant to let it go but I have too many banjos and don’t play this banjo much anymore.
This needs to be with someone who will play it. It’s got a lot of good life in it.
Kershner tailpiece is not original.
Renaissance head.
Original case in good condition.
