This is an 11" Black Walnut rim blank, turned true (described as "Smooth" on the Balsam Banjo Works listing). I used many of these when I was building banjos, and have never found a better made laminated rim. These are the best on the market today.

Pictured with a 3/8" brass tube tone ring which is not included with the sale. Both of the tone rings I had have been SOLD.
