Early, original Vega Pete Seeger model from ca. 1960 with Tubaphone tonering, and dowel stick....with some upgrades! Rim assembly has all original hardware, stamps, armrest, and label; in good shape, some wear on black paint exterior and rim cap; equipped with punched fifth period era Presto tailpiece. The three piece maple neck has a 32-1/4 scale length ebony fingerboard with added herringbone binding, and delicate added pearl inlay, with extremely interesting sliding brass fifth string capo which rides via a narrow slot in fingerboard; equipped with original elton tuners replaced w/ gotohs, and possible geared krol 5th. Some wear to back of neck, surface scratching, Included in sale is original hard shell case by Lifton fair condition. New Remo head replacing old vegalon head not included. Nice straight neck plays well with rich tone! All in all beautiful old model in very good cond.
