The Black Diamond Long Neck banjo has an adjustable tropical mahogany neck; a hard, dense, colorful, exotic, and naturally beautiful ebony fingerboard; and engraved diamond shaped mother-of-pearl inlays. See Deering's website for further details. Comes with the case shown.
The banjo can be capoed at the third fret and played as a regular 5-string in the key of G, or left open and played in the lower key of E. (Pete Seeger created the first long neck to allow him to sing in this lower, more comfortable range.)
For extra style, this particular banjo has had a black Deering Banjo Head and black arm rest added.
