For sale is truly an exceptional example of the Greg Rich era of Gibson Banjos. A 1988 (#8811) Gibson Granada that is as near mint as your likely to find. This banjo has the desired Kulish Sr. Tone Ring. Flying Eagle Pearl inlay pattern on the Peg Head and Rosewood Fingerboard. All gold hardware is as new with zero wear. Beautifully figured Maple Resonator and neck. 5/8” Grover bridge. Scruggs style tuners 2nd and 3rd strings with original Gibson tuners in the case. Railroad spike in the A and B position on the 5th string. Very minimal wear on the frets. Original warranty card in case.I literally find no flaws anywhere on this banjo which is remarkable because it has been played some but obviously very carefully and meticulously cared for. The Greg Rich era banjos are fast becoming some of the most desired of the Post WWll Gibson banjos. Case is a black TKL type case but not original. Thank you for looking. In summary if you're looking to find a Post WWll investment quality Gibson banjo, this might be the one. $9,000.00 + Shipping. Thank you, Frank
