Prucha unplated archtop tonering, nohole prewar specs. Want to try an archtop tonering without exchanging the rim? Here is the solution, thanks to the maple wood slice, made by luthier Clancy Mullins. The wood slice fills the gap between a rim, cut for flathead, and the archtop tonering. I used this combination together with a flathead TB-1 rim, worked perfect.
Of course you can install the archtop tonering on a rim, cut for archtop, too, without using the wood slice.
