No breaks, no damage. Hardware original, other than the Waverly tailpiece. Better than a lot of banjos of this age cosmetically. Original Kluson tuners in case. Photos should give a good indication of the condition of this workhorse banjo. Well played, but not abused.
Please note in the photo showing the fifth string nut. This is a screw head that has been cut off and placed in the vacant hole. It is not glued in or permanently fastened in any manner. Easy to remove and replace with a bone nut. It is doing a nice job, by the way.
Original Lifton case is usable and solid. The handle could use some padding. The banjo is ready for your personal set up and adjustments.
