IMMACULATE 1993 Rich & Taylor Sonny Osborne Deluxe. If it wasn’t for the little bit of tarnishing/patina on the armrest, this banjo would look brand new. All the metal is gold-plated and the tension hoop and armrest are engraved in the style of the Granada. Gorgeous curly maple, the resonator doesn’t have a scratch on it and it has one of the prettiest, most comfortable necks I’ve ever seen/played. The original tailpiece broke so I had Steve Huber send me a gold plated Presto replacement. This banjo has sat for 32 years, virtually unplayed. There is zero fret wear and it sounds as good as it looks! It has a Kulesh 10 hole tone ring, spikes on 7 and 9, and a Ken Hooper 5/8, Crowe-spaced bridge. I have a ton of pictures so I’m happy to send more upon request. I’m also happy to send a video or two. I’ve seen the “Rich-era” Granadas go for $10-$12k, get this one for a fraction of that before I change my mind.
