Nice old nylon-string spunover banjo rehabilitated by Carl Arcand. I wish I'd bonded with this banjo better, the neck is super comfortable, but am downsizing and just can't get used to nylon strings on a fretted banjo. The previous owner clearly loved this instrument; the only significant sign of wear is on the neck around the first 5 positions/frets (attached a picture). I gave the fretboard a good oiling and will throw in a few packs of Aquila nylons.

This is a reconditioned open back banjo from master luthier Carl Arcand at Second Life Banjos. This has a new walnut neck and a Dallas pot from 1890. The pot is 10 3/4 inches maple and is a single spun-over with a brass round tone ring . Goat skin head.
From Carl Arcand – it has a “Truss rod adustable by the neck heel. You will probably never have to adjust it”. It comes with a 5/8 Bridge
Has nylon strings and beautiful action for that old time clawhammer feel
