Here is a part that comes up for sale nearly never. This Oettinger tailpiece is of the very elusive variety that is five string, (somewhat) gold plated, and embossed with “Vegaphone De-Luxe 155 Columbus Ave. Boston Mass.”
The gold plating has mostly worn off the exterior surfaces but is still present else where on the part. I acquired it missing one of the adjustment screws so I opted to purchase a unplated brass replacement from Gryphon Instruments as it matched the rest of the tailpiece best.
Hanger bolt and it’s corresponding but are present and included.
