I'm offering for sale a rare Richard Brown 'Texas Troubadour' banjo in excellent condition. Using all regional hardwoods, this banjo is an easy player and very attractive. The 11" block rim is made from Mesquite with a Texas Ebony rim cap and tone ring. Renaissance head. A very nice Texas Ebony fretboard is mated to a one-pc Mesquite neck and features Brown's signature S-scoop. Hardware is all nickel-plated and includes a wire arm-rest. Uses PegHeds geared tuners. Scale length is a comfortable 25" with a 1-3/8" neck width at the nut. Ships in a Crossrock Deluxe archtop hardshell case or a Gatorcase hard foam travel case with backpack straps. Both cases are new and worth approx $100. Take your pick.
