In my opinion these are the best banjo tuners made before World War Two. They were found on Ludwigs as well as some Vegas and Gibsons. Given the small diameter of the shaft (9/32”) they are a great tuner to put on vintage instruments with smaller holes in the peghead.
This set works really well, with only one of the tuners having the slightest of that bumpy feeling some of these tuners have. The tuners in this set has modern Ivoroid buttons installed on them.
The gold plating isn’t immaculate but is holding up pretty well for being roughly 100 years old.
Thanks for looking and feel free to reach out with any questions.
