This is an old spunover pot that is 12 1/2” in diameter. The neck has 12 frets and is originally a 5 string though the fingerboard used to be longer long before I had it.
It’s got a new skin head but unfortunately there’s a small slit. It’s up to tension now and it hasn’t split. I think it will be fine for clawhammer with a longer neck or even with this one.
It’s got the original shoes,hoop and no knot,the brass hooks were breaking so I replaced with modern hooks.
This is a project but I see folks looking for large pots and this one is in really nice shape and has some weight to it.
I just have too many banjo projects right now.
