For sale is a 2008, all original, Huber Ron Block model banjo.
With the exception of the typical ware you would expect on both the head and arm rest, the banjo is in excellent condition. Gold plating shines bright. Wood finish is near flawless with a small blemish on the resonator rim at about the 2 o’clock position (tried to capture in photos)
The banjo is currently setup with a Purcell bridge and spikes at 7-10. Neck and resonator are maple.. Neck profile is slightly wider than your typical Huber dimensions (per Ron Block’s request on these models).
Vintage Ring and Rim.
Lots of growling tone with volume to spare. One of the best Huber necks I have had the privilege of playing.
I would not call this particular model of Huber “rare”……..but not many out there for sale for sure.
The banjo will ship in it’s OHSC which is in fair condition (handle repair and multiple marks).
