OK what a day .... got a haircut, got some clothes at Goodwill (the Sunnyvale one is half-price on Friday) so I'm wearing a warm fleecy microfiber-y sweater turtleneck sort of thing now and it's nice, went and "worked" University Avenue, considering all my spending I didn't put money into the Banjo Fund, but a "fan" in Biddleford? Biddeford? Maine sent me a $20 in the mail so that went into .... the Banjo Fund.

I won't post the next 2-3 days because I'll be with my GF. Strange at all get-out, when I was employed and had my own place etc I couldn't get a GF, now I'm an unemployed loser and lo and behold, I have one. Go figure.

Panhandling is ... interesting. Talk about getting a lot of No's, but you have to just keep on being positive, the ultimate sales training. I doubt anyone believes my story, or that I am saving for a banjo, I just smile inwardly and imagine the look on their faces, when I'm out there playing, not polished at first, but out there and havin' a good time and making people happy, and their jaws drop and they think, "Didn't I give you $2 last week....??"

It will be worth it!

Biddeford? That's right next door to me. I didn't know there was a BHO member in Biddeford. Keep up the blogs...I still think its good material for a column or a TV show.
