I know you're not serious, or at least hope you're not. If you are, I wonder if you can make as much money panhandling in Iraq?

Revolutionaries make better song writers and better banjo players, but please keep in mind those who are handing you cash in compassion for other folks.

Those handing me cash are good, decent people. As are the vast majority of those *not* handing me cash - some are utterly broke themselves, trying to survive "on plastic" until payday, etc. Some just don't believe in it, and I didn't either, a while back. It took me about 4 years up here in the SF Bay Area to turn from someone really sour on giving ppl spare change, to someone who generally did unless the spare-changer was really obnoxious or I really was empty-pocketed. I hasten to mention that this softening process took place during the time I had a business and still never thought I'd find myself on the recieving end of this kind of thing.
And "pay if forward" isn't just an idea with me, it's a natural law. I can't believe I'll be this poor forever, and I should ultimately be able to pay forward more than I'm "withdrawing" right now.
As for panhandling in Iraq, I've tried and tried to get the Army to take me back and send me there, maybe you can convince them, they keep telling me I'm too old. I sure know that Middle-Eastern people are generous as a rule, much more so than Americans tend to be.
