Well my precious Banjo has been left with Mr Pete Ainsworth of Rugby, England, to have some work done on the neck, refretting and some tidying up of the inlays which have been re-done at some point and excess glue has seeped out around some of them; obviously making it look and feel slightly untidy.
Pete builds Banjo's From his workshop at home, I spent some time playing and examining some of the things he has built and I have to say im full of confidence in his work. He builds everything on his banjo's right down to making his own tone rings on a rather impressive looking lathe. All of the instruments I saw were beautifully crafted and sounded great, oozing quality from every oriface. Pete also very kindly lent me one of his banjo's to keep me picking while he works on mine. So, top man.
I'll be sure to post my verdict on the work and hopefully some pics too.
Happy Pickin Y'all !!!!!!

It's not missing if you know where it is. It is *field-located,* or in this case, in the shop.
