God Allmighty has a calling for each of us. Yes, I am included as we all are. The first time I saw you you were scared and shivering. I wanted so badly to speak out to comfort you but I knew it was not for me to do. There were others there watching. You were never alone for I stood sentry night and day.
I saw you growing and it was me who gave you the slightest nudge in the right direction when you were about to partake in something that would have surely brought you harm. I laughed along with you but most important I cried with you.
When you lay there sick and weak I silently prayed for your recovery. I wispered in the ears of the caretakers when you lay there cold and couldn't ask for a warm blanket. I never have left your side. It has not been easy or pleasant at times to watch life serve you the bitter parts. I would have gone through it all for you if that was allowed.
I have been so proud of you when you followed your heart and reached out to the needy. When you comforted those whose burdens were heavy and you took it on yourself to listen and give an encouraging word. You have been quick to offer your heart. The times it was broken I sat beside you head in hands and my tears flowed unseen. I cried aloud unheard. Except to One.
It has been my great pleasure to have been chosen to walk with you throughout this time. And when you are old and helpless I will be here as I always have. When we have gone full circle at last you will see me. You caught a glimpse of me once but you will recognize me by my voice and my touch. There are some who ask if you believe in angels. Even when you didn't I was here.
When you doubted everything. When you felt there was nothing that was real and nobody cared at all. I was there. Yes I am your Gaurdian Angel. Through it all I have loved you and never left you alone. This was my calling and I have done well. Will you follow your own? One thing I cannot do is make choices for you. I wish I could. The times when you saw behind the curtain it was I who pulled them back that you would be inspired. At times I have talked to you and I will forever.This is what love is.
Go on and rest now, sleep well as I hold the shadows off while you slumber. Tomorrow we will start a new day together.

Really inspirational and we need more beautiful and poetic words like those in the world today. Both for just simply picking my banjo to making it through this hard world.
