After a 3 year stint with the Delaney Brothers Bluegrass of Central New York and 4 years with my own band Blue Lightning, I am moving on to the world of professional music. In September I was asked to join the Abrams Brothers of Kingston, Ontario, and after much prayerful consideration have accepted their offer. It's hard leaving 2 bands that I have enjoyed playing in so much, but I have wanted for a long time to make a career of my passion, so this was a great opportunity for me.
While the Abrams have their roots deep in bluegrass music, they are venturing into other genres, bringing their own uniquie bluegrass twist into the mix, creating a sound that is all their own. It's an exciting challenge, and will stretch me as a musician, which I am really looking forward to. Not to mention the privilege of getting to see more of our country and Canada!
Hope to see some of you on the road!

Leaving bluegrass for other genres? What a pity.
