My First Banjo Bridge

Posted by Justin E. on Saturday, September 20, 2008

I just got through making my first banjo bridge.  I made it out of maple and brazilian ebony(some really hard stuff).  It's not that much to look at, but it sounds pretty good, especially for the first one.  It's pretty loud too and has a lot of ring to it.  I think I got it a little short, which is causing a litte buzz on the frets, but I'm not worried about that.  I've learned a little from this and should be able to make one, hopefully, 10x's better!

Keep at it!   These things always get better when you make more!   Post some pictures soon.

Cool keep making them. I have made  alot now and it's always fun testing them even if they don't always work.
