Thumbs up: Skystone. This is they-don't-make-'em-like-that-anymore bluegrass. Good music, good entertainment...polished in every sense of the word. You can always tell a band that knows what it's doing by the fact that there's no dead time in their set--no matter what goes wrong.
Thumbs down: Infamous Stringdusters. Could somebody tell me what's to like about this band? Okay, they're loaded with talent, but on stage they're barely entertaining and they hardly look like they want to be there. For me, you can have the best recordings on the market, but if you can't put on a good show, you're all icing and no cake.

The 'Dusters first CD was very good! The second one was mostly bland.
