A weekly check-in on the Banjo versus TV project — J.R.'s resolution to spend more time in 2008 on his banjo than on TV. J.R.'s a few weeks behind, so he's furiously getting caught up in order to concentrate on the Four Corners Folk Festival.
Not a lot of banjo time or TV time this week, due to me getting a lot of fresh air, sunshine and exercise.
I'll try not to let that happen again.

I don't think I've watched a tv series with any regularity since McHale's Navy was in prime time. However, I seem to be able to whittle away the time on other things- books, etc. as an excuse for not playing. I too am working on it, because just a little banjo picking can go a long way!

See, this is why the banjo versus TV thing works for me. You remind me of McHale's Navy and I think, "Hey, I could get that on NetFlix."
* Season 4, the final season, comes out on DVD in November.

I hear Lemon oil/ fret board conditioner is not good uv protection. Better use it indoors!

Hmm... ya know, I watch a lot of TV but I always play my banjo while I am watching. I guess that is why I don't know what the shows I watch are about and also why I don't play so good... It probably accounts for why friends don't drop by anymore too.
