Less than 6 weeks to IBMA! This is the first year I will have a booth of my own for Fan Fest. Usually I just camp out with Banjo.com but they've decided to skip having a booth this year. I'm now working frantically to get some stock finished so it won't look like just an empty stall. I should have one or two regular Tranjo 8.0 models for sale, and hopefully the first few production models of the new Tranjo Express line. I've been re-thinking the Tranjo Express design and hopefully it will all come together as I see it in my head. I've come up with a modified neck-removal scheme that should work really weIl. I had to buy a table saw to cut the new parts and boy those things are scary! I've never been so nervous about a power tool before - too many stories of missing fingers.
I've got 2 orders for painted TranjoCasters (one in fire-engine red, one in dark purple) and I'm also getting an exotic wood TranjoCaster built for stock. I'll have that one to show and hopefully sell at IBMA too. I'll have my personal Tranjo and TranjoCaster available to try as well.
If you're going to IBMA Fan Fest on October 3 and 4, please stop by and say "hello" and try out a Tranjo. I'll be in booth #104, on the right side near the IBMA gift shop. See you there!
