Well, another 7/4 has come and gone. Around the Bailey House we had lots of
1. food: went out to eat seafood, and dveloped a whole new appreciation for item #3. So it wasn't really around the house. Well...the city is around the house in a broad sense, so I guess the food was therefore "around" the house too.... In a somewhat broad but much more concentrated manner...
2. fireworks (on TV): It's interesting how many mosquito bites you don't get when you watch those people in Boston play with fire. There's method to that small part of our collective madness. I wonder if those fireworks professionals ever wet the bed...
3.antacid: it's amazing; with so many highfalutin' medicines for heartburn out there these days, that something so basic as two chewable horsepill-like tablets can completely quench a Hotsauce Crisis..
4. dachshund, watching: No, not dachshund-watching. the lil' fellow is old enough in dog years to be my ancestor...and he was watching all of us with all the intensity of a guard dog...maybe he wanted to go with us to eat seafood...
5. dachshund-watching: Yeah, right, as if you didnt know this was coming up...We just stared right back at him. Well, we did blink once. Okay, a few times... Yeah, yeah, a lot. Oh, come on, now...
6. Banjo playing: Some in the living room, Some on the patio, Some more in the house after the neighbors called...Not really, they've never complained -- Er, not that I'd want to set up chairs on the patio and invite my fellow OT folks... Well, Actually I'd want to, but best not to push fate...
How was yours?

Mark - You've blinked in front of a Dachshund? - Risky business that! - All the best, Bryan.
