Swollen right hand and elbow so painful I can't pick the jo.
This is terrible. Heading off to MD. Anyone had a similar problem that might give me a clue?

You're right to check with your dr. Free medical advice is usually worth what you pay for it -- nothing! Get to a dr. and find out what's wrong and get it taken care of.
Hopefully, it's nothing that can't be taken care of with an antibiotic and/or rest and PT.

MD could not diagnose, Just gave steroid shot and some pills for 6 days and thinks that will take care of it. Whew! I was worried about carpal tunnel from all the picking I do.

Will hopefuly by now you are feeling better, I have severe Rheumatoid Arihritis. So belive me I know pain, I take a drug called Celabrex, you may want to ask you dr. about it. It dose wounders for me. The winter time is the worst as it is very wet and cold here in the winter.

Steriods did the job. Hand and arm back to normal and I'm off to the senior center to jam tjhis morning.
