Hickory Project and Chele's Kitchen

Posted by DandyRandy on Tuesday, June 10, 2008

Both are instructors at this year's jam camp in Hotchkiss Colorado. Too late to get in, but the North Fork Bluegrass and Roots Music Festival starts Friday. So far day one was great with Dave Cavage from Music Moose, also with the Hickory Project, doing banjo instruction. I've checked out several lessons on the Moose, but Dave is great in person as well. The Kruger Brothers, Carrie Hassler and Hard Rain, and more will be playing this weekend.

Randy,

Does this mean your gonna dive in and make yourself a banjo from scratch?

Good to see your having a great time!

Hey Randy,

Chele's Kitchen are friends of mine.  If you get  a chance, say hi from Illusions of Banjar, otherwise known as Dave from Port Townsend.  They are a fun group of folks.

Jim,
You mean Hickory Project? They're a great group. No new projects for me though. Learning the banjo is enough. The more I learn, the more I see that I don't know anything!
