Nice pic...looks like Lake Michigan in the background. In a previous life, I played plectrum banjo on the "near north", not far from where you are.

I.ve never seen snow nor sky like that before. I live in texas. Looks cold, but still an aewsome pic. Nice t shirt, too.

Oh, it's cold all right. Winters aren't as cold as they were 20 years ago, of course. But it's cold.
The edge of Lake Michigan, behind me, is frozen for the first 200 feet or so. It looks like the beach has been extended. But don't let that fool you -- it's just a death trap waiting for an unsuspecting tourist to mistake the thin ice for snow-covered beach.

I know that beach well. In summertime it's a great place to swim, so long as you look out for broken glass and used syringes.
