I host the newest bluegrass music radio show at the University of Georgia's student-run radio station WUOG 90.5 FM Athens, Georgia. It's called Bluegrass Junction and airs Sunday mornings starting at 10 am and ending at 12 pm. The show is also streamed live over www.wuog.org. This radio show features vintage/traditional bluegrass artists and bands. It also showcases some new bluegrass talent as well. Lots of old/rare records are played every week because I'm using my some of my own collection which is mostly old vinyls. Feel free to listen in if you'd like to sometime.
This past Sunday was the first edition of Bluegrass Junction. It went well considering the turntables at the station didn't work for the first half of the show. I hope to improve the show every week as my experience level builds up. If anyone would like to hear a certain band or recording over the show, just send me a message and I'll do my best to get it on the show.
